The service
dark software factories (“dsf,” “we,” “us”) provides automated PRD audit, harness composition, and pull-request emission via Claude Code integration. You submit a PRD and a repository; we audit the contract, assemble a harness, and open pull requests against the repo you authorize.
Your responsibilities
- Provide PRD content you have the right to share, and that accurately describes the system you want built.
- Own — or be legally authorized to act on — the GitHub repositories you connect.
- Comply with Anthropic's usage policies. We pass requests through the Claude API; their acceptable-use rules apply to what you submit.
- Pay your subscription on time. Failure to pay suspends service.
- Keep your account credentials secure.
Our responsibilities
- Best-effort service availability. There is no SLA in beta. We aim for boring uptime and will tell you when we miss.
- Reasonable security, in line with Cloudflare's posture for the hosting and storage layer.
- Transparent billing. You see what you owe before you owe it; you get a receipt for every charge.
- Honest communication when something breaks or changes.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use dsf to:
- Produce or distribute malware, spyware, or similar.
- Generate code intended to violate applicable law, infringe intellectual property, or harm third parties.
- Reverse-engineer our prompts, extract our internal templates, or probe for proprietary harness structure beyond what we publish.
- Bypass billing, share a single account across organizations, or otherwise abuse the metering.
- Interfere with the service or the infrastructure it runs on.
Beta-phase terms
- The service may break. Features may change without notice.
- Refunds are at our discretion. We are generous about it; we do not promise it.
- We may terminate access for any account that violates these terms, or for any reason during the beta with a reasonable attempt at notice.
Liability
dsf is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is capped at the amount you've paid us in the twelve months prior to the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You retain full responsibility for code merged into your repositories and deployed to your systems. The harness emits pull requests; you decide what merges and what ships.
Termination
Either side can cancel any time. You can export your data on the way out (see privacy). We may purge it ninety days after cancellation unless law or active billing requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We'll email active customers about material changes at least thirty days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you don't agree, cancel before the effective date and we'll honor the export-and-delete process described above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved in the courts that have jurisdiction over our principal place of business.
